Not very good food and the service is the slowest possible. Sat for 2 hours... Wasn't even hungry by the time the food came. Also our server was downright nasty.

Read lots of wonderful reviews but our table thought it was a bit bland. Nothing to write home about. We were a bit disappointed. We loved the bread! Salad dressing was bland. Several of us had Vodka Sauce and it was bland. Wish we could say something better. As an old movie lover I enjoyed the decor. But really thought the hostess needs to find her smile. She doesn't look like she enjoys her job or us as customers.

Longest. Wait. Ever. Won't go back. Ever. 90 minutes was too long to wait once seated. Should have gotten up and left and gone somewhere else, like others around us. And the food came out less than hot and in a piecemeal fashion. Which meant it had to be sent back to the kitchen to get microwaved. Everyone else's food was lukewarm, as well. I believe that my meal was actually destined for another table that left frustrated before being served. 1* for the server who was amusing and apologetic at the same time despite being equally flustered. 1* for the main course which, once heated up, was tasty. Points off for the low end bread which accompanied the meal and the side salad which could have come out of a bag from the supermarket.

Brought the in-laws for a good casual Italian place near home. Big servings, good friendly service. Classic fare that is all good, I was surprised to find out that owners for last 3 years or so are not Italian though they have kept the recipes of the long time original Italian owners. Some favorites of my wife and oldest daughter are the eggplant parmigiana, Bolognese we love, the garlic sautéed vegetables have to be tried. I'm told you will never hear an Italian say there was too much garlic and this wonderful broccoli, carrots, etc are fabulous and lots of garlic. Food is very good here, never tried anything we disliked here. Very good deal on house Chianti for $23 bottle and they actually have another for only $21. Food is always 4 stars or better, service is do friendly and over the top, Classico's gets an extra star! Everyone agrees, we will be back to see Mary-Kay our wonderful server who has been here for years and is always delightful and makes dinner memorable.

I am about to sound like nails on a chalkboard to every Floridian but I have to say it: It is hard to find great home-style Italian food outside of New York City. It just is. That being said, my father (and my whole family) took me here for my birthday. I had the best penne ala vodka, which is my favorite pasta dish, I've had in a very long time. The garlic bread with cheese was so delicious that my father ordered a second serving that he could take home. I tried the shrimp parmigana and the calamari and I was very impressed. I have not tried the pizza but I wouldn't doubt that it's delicious. Italian restaurants like this are suited for either a family dinner or a romantic dinner - but, as always, when in Jupiter you will have the ambiance of many senior citizens around you. It's the truth.

Service is good. Food is good. But......................... Listen up...... Go here for the veal. It's the best that we have found in this area. If you are a veal person, this is the place to go. Period!

We tried Classico restaurant because of the good reviews, but at the end of our evening....... we had a whole different experience The menu is limited, plain and boring No good choice of appetizers,.....NO antipasti? ......REALLY?.....This is an Italian restaurant, right?? No gnocchi? No fresh tomato and buffalo mozzarella?..REALLY?? Dinner salad was chopped and resembling coleslaw. My husband had to try that great veal.....it was overcooked, dry and smothered with cheese. I had chicken sausage and that too was bone dry, hard, overlooked floating on top of pasta in tasteless sauce Very poor selection of wines. The waitress was very helpful. she knew we were not at all happy and had the owner void the meal. We requested to speak with the owner, who was nice, but did not LISTENED to anything we were saying He defended his menu, choice and quality of food and said he has a GREAT wine list. Not a good sign for any improvement ..... We certainly won't be back again.

Some of the best Italian food around. Classico's has both a fine dinning section and a pizza section both we different menus. The fine dinning section serves delicious full course meals while the pizza section serves lighter meals like pizza and pasta. In the fine dinning section with an entree you get a salad and pasta. The dishes are so large the can easily be shared with another person. I usually order the chicken calabresse and share it. The chicken calabresse is so big it's 2 huge breast, plus if i share then we both get salads and we both get pasta. I also love the house calamari with peppers and garlic. In the pizza section the spaghetti inferno is really good a salad does not come with it. The prices are very reasonable. You can get a full meal for around $20 and have leftovers. Believe me you will be walking out with doggie bags. It is casual and the service is always friendly. It is a mom and pop restaurant so it is great. The wine selection is limited but is still very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Jonathan the bellman at Jupitier Beach Resort recommended Classico. What a find! The warm atmosphere from the minute that we walked in was very pleasing. We started our dinner with delicious hot bread and butter followed by chopped salads with gorgonzola cheese. I ordered the Spinach Lasagna and my hubby ordered the Meat Lasagna. WOW! When the plates arrived we could have shared one plate. We had wonderful service! When we left we walked out with enough food to enjoy at a later date. Italian food gets better with age. Thanks Jonathan for your recommendation!

We went to this old style Italian eatery because they had a variety of coupons on Restaurant.com . The portions were huge, I had the chicken marsala which came with about 3 chicken breasts. Also, it came with a huge side of pasta and a choice of minestrone or house salad. The food is classic Italian, its not the best food in the world, but its beyond a deal for the price. I enjoyed the service and was happy with my overall experience and food.

We waited nearly 35 minutes to be served the entrees and that was 35 minutes after our salads were served. The food was okay at best. Waitress knew we were not happy about the wait and was surly at the end .

I wanted to like this place as I live very close BUT the food and service was mediocre at best. The servers here seem unhappy? The bread, salad, and pasta were average and it was probably the worst Shrimp Fra Diavolo I've ever had, full of big chunks of tomatoes. My husband and I tried this place twice and would not go back. You can find better Italian restaurants.

One of the worst Italian-American meals, ever. Minestrone looked and tasted like something out of a can. My wife's Pasta Fagiole was just as bad (the server actually told me they use cream in their recipe.) My Veal Marsala was a disgusting plate of small pieces of tough meat. The side dish of pasta with "Sunday sauce" was a complete joke. It tasted like tinny tomato sauce. Olive Garden would have been much better. Service was slow.

Been back about 10 times in 2013. NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT ANYTHING. We go pretty much once a month and the food is as good... Actually better... Than any Italian food we've had in Palm Beach County at any price. 5 stars for Classico's.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
